Scope

The entry-level Full Stack Software Developer position works in Advanced Software Technologies, a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment developing truly innovative software solutions for federal and commercial customers. This position develops cutting-edge software for:

· Enterprise level web applications

· Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

· Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.

Major Responsibilities

• Web Application Development (Python)
• Database Development (Postgres)
• Web UX/UI Development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
• Source Control Experience using Git
• Linux Operating System

Experience in the following areas a plus:

• Object-oriented programming
• Agile software development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required
• Strong creativity and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to contribute in a team setting while being an effective self-starter able to manage daily activities to achieve long term goals
